You’ll stay in one of our luxury Cheshire properties, return to the same place each evening, and find the details already taken care of — from a welcome hamper of local produce on arrival to optional extras that allow you to shape the stay around you.

Leave the logistics to us
This is a self-guided walking holiday, designed for those who want independence without complication. Each morning, a private coach collects you directly from your property and drops you at that day’s starting point on the trail.
You walk the next section at your own pace, stopping whenever you wish - there's great pubs, cafes and moments to rest along the way. At the end of the day, the coach returns you back to your front door.
By the end of the third walking day, you’ll have completed the Sandstone Trail in full — end to end — without moving cars, arranging lifts or retracing steps. Leave the logistics to us — so you can enjoy the trail as it unfolds.
Four nights, or longer
The walking holiday is designed as a four-night stay, giving the walk space to sit comfortably within your time away.
You arrive, unpack properly and settle in. Over the following three days, you complete the Sandstone Trail section by section. On departure day, there’s no rush — just a slow morning and an easy journey home.
If you’d like a little longer — perhaps a day either side to stay put, explore locally or simply enjoy doing very little — you’re welcome to extend your stay. Many guests do.
